That Jean Style!

I love the mixture of light and dark jean tones!! Its fun to let the tones mix with a basic black like in the the photo or add a pop of color with your accessories like a red, green, or yellow. This outfit was inspired by the lovely Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child from one of her amazing photos on Instagram. So while enjoying an unplanned trip to the mall I saw this cool jean top in forever 21 (similar here, here) for $21 and I knew I had to have it. I remember seeing the jean belt that Michelle tied around her shirt so I MADE  this jean belt to emulate the look. I bought the jean fabric to make the belt from Joann’s (one of my favorite places in the whole wide world, lol) . The top and the fabric for the belt matched so well I couldn’t tell they weren’t made from the same fabric. Next, are these fun and stylish jeans…. On a separate trip to the mall I went in Rue 21 (similar here, here) with my daughter and found these babies for just $7.00 on sale!! I was so excited especially due to the fact that I wasn’t planning to shop for myself at all that day… So win win for me!

My fun and lovely heels came from my favorite affordable shoe place DSW! These Calvin Klein’s (here, here) have a great platform and the heel that is easy to walk in. They were a little more expensive at $80 but will go well with many other outfits. The Gucci belt was a gift from the hubby because it was something that I wanted FOREVER!! So I was floored when he brought the box with the belt to me!

So the total price for this outfit excluding the belt( I’ll just say the belt is super expensive) came to $108… Not to bad for a head to toe look!!!  Hope you enjoyed this look and thanks to Michelle for great inspiration!!

Love Ya, and keep in STYLE!
